So... something tells me my differential is good, and that the axle is ****.. and this is why. It looks welded, the spines are wore down and best of all is how it came out. I pounded with the sledge just now and nothing, so i tried pounding it from the brake side, it got stuck, finally after 5min of hitting back and forth on both sides and not getting it unstuck, i kicked it with my steel toe and it flew out of the right side  after all this time, all it took was my work shoe!
Heres what I got.

Also have a question. Is the 250es axle the same? I can get one for free.

Finely!!!!! Somtimes it just takes a good swift kick. That axle is nasty. With it being welded I'm suprised you got it out at all.

Glad to see you got it out!
They must have welded it, then put it all together piece by piece. There is no way to get in there to weld it while assembled.
Those axle splines give you an idea of how the mating splines in the ring gear probably are.
I had a diff and axle wear out the splines too, it was an 85 and had bent a bent swinger from jumping too much

I stuck the splines on that little good part in that axle into the differential and it spinned no problem. started the engine and from what I could do in first gear i couldnt get it to move or skip like before. Im gonna try my luck with a axle first, but I did get a good offer on both a axle and differential from a 250sx... just gotta see if it goes through.
I guess I can try the 250es axle for now, if it fits and works then thats great, and if not, well atleast I can replace the damn thing now, haha

Just don't use "good" splines with crappy splines....
Clean out those ring gear splines with gas and a small wire bush, then see how they look. I don't think there gonna be in good shape.

I know that, its getting a teardown for sure, damn cold and fog is holding me up.
There are weld spots in the splines on the axle and it seems like they were hit by a hammer... flat going both ways. I think thats why the end has good splines on it, the axle couldnt reach in that far.
I have done some choppy fixes, but what I have seen this past year on Odyssey's, Pilot's and this threewheeler just scares the **** out of me.

You can swap the swingarm and axle out with a TRX unit too...

I just checked the "fische" on line and there is 2 different part# for the axels. Just my 2 cents
