lol, I cant. This is all I have so far. Itll have a polished wheels with a 23" front and 20" rears, black swinger, silver/chrome hubs, gloss black engine with the fins sanded down(like AJZ 200X has done with his sig trike), polished forks, and black fork boots.
I think its gonna look siiiiiick! :w00t:
Having a black headlight shroud is icing on the cake!
I dont think Im going to put stickers on it, but Ill have to wait and see how it looks.

Heres a pic of the polished(or lack thereof) stock skidplate, and the only teardown pic I have. Im thinking about buying a PRM plate for the swingarm since the stockers bend too easily.

I got the frame back, and some free time(finally), so assembly should go pretty quickly. Ive still got to paint the engine, polish the triples and shock tubes, and paint the swinger(black), and alot of other misc things. At this pace, itll be done about 2013. :wondering

Very similar to the way I'm building mine. Except, I'm going with black and silver instead of all black but it looks close.

If and when you guys ever meet Jason... hes as light as a feather... that 350X will go like a ghost is riding it, the frame was perfect with not one stress crack in it at all, I decided by the way he rides and the fact that he weighs like zero pounds wet that he really didnt need them.

I don't want to start yet another battle.......
But, it's always been MY belief that the weight of the motor versus the force of the shock pushing upwards is what causes the dreaded right (OOOPS - LEFT!!) side frame crack.
I think most guys could skip all the bracing aside from the one motor mount area........
Looking good anyhow!! :D

Heres the new fork boots from wsatvs on eBay. Im not sure of the brand, but they look much more durable than the thin Daystar(btpage) boots seen on the right side shock. Plus, they are a darker shade of black.

It is tough to tell in the pic, but they all look to be the same shinyness. One thing you can try is PLEXUS, which is a polish/cleaner/protectant for plastic that works pretty well on all kinds of stuff.
http://www.plexusplasticcleaner.com/plexus.html
Most people who have owned a motorcycle already know about Plexus. One plastic polishing product that also works well if there are minor scratches, but also requires more time and elbow grease is NOVUS. Fewer know about this one.

New 20x10x9 Dunlop KT335 tires on D.I.D wheels. Front is also Dunlop 23x8x11 on an Enkei wheel.
Next step is to get the motor done and bolted in...but first I need to kick the lawnmower out of the shed for the X, because :TrikesOwn

So...about 1.5 years later, I finally made some more progress. Life little changes and lack of motivation were to blame, but Im back in the right mindset to get this project finished!
Today was spent cleaning and painting little pieces. I havent had anything powdercoated yet, but hope to have the front and rear hubs and lower fork tubes powdered as close to polished aluminum as possible. Anyone know of a good color thats close? I dont know what Im gonna do with the calipers yet as far as color. Black or same polished aluminum color? I havent done anything with the swinger and axle, but want to get the axle powdered the same as the hubs. Maybe get the swinger powdered the same color with a black shock? Open to suggestions!
Heres some pics from the days progress.

I used a Columbia Coatings all in 1 bonded chrome on these wheels. It's single stage and doesn't require a clear coat like most metallics and chrome powders.

Didnt do too much today...just mounted up the oil cooler, exhaust, and tweaked the wiring harness position. The exhaust is far from the fender, but looks too close to the clutch arm on the right side of the motor. I dont think it will bind up though. Next step is to find a powdercoater in town or in Orlando, FL(travel there twice a week)and get these parts powdered. DKSIX, thats a nice shade. I'll mention it to whoever I find to lay some powder! Heres some pics including a mockup pic. Lookin freakin sweet!

More progress has been made in the past two days. I got some parts back from powdercoat and was able to get the front end put together. Had a little trouble with the front axle not wanting to thread back into the hole in the fork tube, but finally got it. Next thing to tackle is the handlebars and everything attached to them. Its starting to take shape now! I had the axle and swinger powdered, so the rest of the nick nack parts will just be sprayed. Calipers, handlebar stuff, and shock and reservoir, other misc parts.
Too bad there are about 3 different shades of black as is even more noticable with the camera flash. Still looks great though! What do ya think? Im still debating whether or not to put stickers on.

Some pretty good progress has been made in the past couple weeks. I got the motor fired up and tuned enough to stay running(havent done any plug tuning yet). Still have to finish the rear shock and get a caliper bracket for the front brakes and install the rear brake reservior and throw the chain on and take it for a spin! It was soooooooo nice to hear this motor for the first time in 3 years. Boy has it been too long.
Heres some pics and a video after I got the motor running decently.
