Using the "choke" as a temporary off switch? Well i have some wiring problems. everything seems fine , all wires are connected. But the "off switch doesn't work. I would have to turn off the main switch, where it you can put it on "res" "on" "off".... Or i use the choke to shut off my motor.... You guys got anything to say?

Using the choke will eventually foul the plug out its not very good to use it as a kill switch.

Just reach down and pull the spark plug boot off the plug, works for me!

I use the choke to turn my 200x off all the time, and dosent hurt it one bit. My wiring is all screwed up, because I have two harnesses on it, one of a 200x, and one off a 200s, which the engine came off of. Im still trying to figure them all out. roll

You can buy one of those $5 push button kill switch for a dirt bike, connect one end to the coil input spade connector and the other end to ground.
