My friend was working on some kids 110 and he get this 90 to get parts off it for the 110. So he just gave it to me when he got done with it. It needs allot of work!!
Can I change the axle to a 110? The reason is because the axle has the big spline setup and not the small spline, and it has plate that bolts up to the rim and the hub bolts on that plate.
Are a 79 110 gas tank the same as a 90?
Does anybody know what year it is? The axle comes out by pulling on it. Theirs a lever on the handle bars to turn it. The foot pegs can be pushed in.

is that the 90 right there? it has an 83-84 gas tank... i know that same years should interchage gas tanks.... you can swap axels, but you have to swap most of the components too...

Thats was the gas tank that came with it and i know that it's not the right one. It says US90 on the frame and the vin starts with 12. The engine says 88 on it to. The rear fender is fiberglass to. I believe that the orignally tires I believe that came with it was the old chevron ballon tires, because it has small axle hubs that bolt up to a adapter plate on the rim, but the tires didn't come with it.

hhhhmmmm... I thought 90's and 110's were the exact same thing except for the engine. You should be able to interchange alot of parts from the two.

Did you ever find out what year it is?? Its an early 70's model US 90 because some of the parts fold in like you said. You were supposed to be able to fit the trike into the back of your car trunk when you folded it all up. And by the way, good luck finding parts for something that old!!

nah man i'm not doubting that it's a 90. i meant look at your 110's to see if any of the parts are interchangeable.

Oh IC. Some of the parts are probably interchangable, probably more on my 79 then my 84.

there are no frame stickers that say what year it is? once u find out what year it is, you'll be able to figure out which year 110 parts are interchangeable. either the old style 110's like the 90-81 or the later ones 83-85. i think 82 was a change over year that had some of it's own differences, i cant think off hand.

o actually you'll be able to tell by the rear axle carrier. the older ones had a small carrier, the later ones had a carrier with the brake drum case attached. HTH.

That is the first model 90 trike. 1970 model. See how there are no headlight brackets on the forks and if you look out back, there will be no tail light or even holes in the frame for the tool box. The 110 axle will fit , but you will need the brake drum and hubs. The US 90 were designed to be able to pull the axle out but leave the sprocket and chain etc still attached to the frame. The axle was a two piece design. That rear fender is off a '76 - '79 model.

The axle is a one piece. It slides out by unbolting the left side tire. I haven't really gotten into it yet, beacuse I'm trying to get my yamaha 175 done.

I mean two piece because the sprocket/drum carrier is seperate from the actual drive axle. The drive axle should slide out of the carrier axle but if its siezed the whole lot will want to come out as one.
