it's a chain driven 300ex motor!!!!!! will it fit my 200e frame? it's got starter and such with it.

dudes, if that bolts into a 200x frame or a 200e frame, then sweet!!!!!!!!

??? they are chain driven, they are about the size of a 350x motor. there is a kit bolts a 350x motor to the 300ex sport trax.

look for CRF230 motor, best upgrade you can get, they have the same motor but this one is new and has about 8-10 more hp.

i'm trying to find the best power for my 200e bigred. i am looking for any upgrades possible. carb, complete motor swaps. i spend $800 onthe top end and yea it rocks, but i'm concered about pulling at higher altitudes. it may need more umph. the good thing is the work i did will sway to any 200cc 4stroker trike, so i could always sell the top end or even the whole motor since it works flawlessly to get some $ for a bigger motor.

what do you guys think would be the best performacne drop in that will be also the simplest one?

maybe i'm dreaming i don't know. but would be cool to get one of these bigger motors into a trike to see what it does.

I would go 300ex just for the abundance of them. They have been made since 1993 and are all chain driven. I have no idea if they will bolt into a 200 style trike frame but anything can be done right?

the 300ex motor is based off the 350 motor, it like sticking a 350x motor in a 200x...

^ will it work or is it possible? i know i'll have to fab some custom engine mounts, but I'm wondering if the linkage for the chain will light up correctly. if so.

I'd like to try putting a 250x motor (same as 300ex minus starter & 50cc) in a 86 ATC200X, I already have the doner bike.

i told you to get a bigger bike rather than try to soup up a 200...

300ex motor is kinda big for that chassis...

id look at picking up an sx...what are you using the trike for?

X-everything he said

a 250es or sx is a vast improvement over the 200 even then swaping in a 300trx motor is easier then swaping in a larger motor into the 200 chassis.

how do you x-out what i say then say basically the same thing?

i said get an sx, you said get an sx and put a 300 in it....and the 300 is too big for the 200 chassis...
