It says its a 1984 200E on the frame but when looking on sites like this:
http://www.rentonmotorcycles.com/fic...FicheSelection

An E cant be find for -84.

In the papers for the bike it says that its an ES -85 but a ES should have shaft drive and mine doesn't.

When decoding the VIN number i only get this information:

1984 HONDA

VIN:
JH3TB0514EC517898

World region:
Asia

Manufactured in:
Japan

Year:
1984

Make:
Honda

Want to get this sorted out since want a new airfilter for it and want to order the correct stuff.

Pictures from when i bought it:

Vin-number:

Also have another 200E:
http://www.dirtyserver.mine.nu/Skrutten/dsc03437large.jpg
At least on this the owners paper says its a 200E -84

Vin-number on the 2nd bike:
http://www.dirtyserver.mine.nu/Skrutten/dsc03435large.jpg

Both have this tag on the frame:
http://www.dirtyserver.mine.nu/Skrutten/dsc03436large.jpg

Even if its upside down it clearly says its a 200E -84

Could it be that they really are -83 but they just sold them as -84 in sweden/europe?

Thanks for the help!

the graffix are different on an 83, those look more like the 84 colors from the states, but not exactly. Maybey they offered both versions overseas
