I went to fire up the 350X today after rejetting it for a 450r exaust, started right up, ran good for 15 seconds then it died, had 0 compression. All i could think was it fried, i thought I was losing it for sure. Anyway I pulled the motor out and took the rockers off, everything looked great. Pulled the head off, not so great looking, aparently a mouse found its home in my intake tube and when I started it, all of the junk got sucked in. Theres crap under all the valves, leaving them somewhat open, explaining the 0 compression. I had the carb off ealier but had rags shoved in any openings, how the little basterd got in there is beyond me. I hope with some cleanup she'll be running strong again.

Also, is this a high comp piston? Like a 10.5:1??

yep, looks like a 10.25.1 might try putting a mouse trap in the intake

When you store your trike for a long time.... put steel wool in the air box hole. It's the best thing to do,My 20+ bike have all steel wool when I store it for winter.
