silencer swap?

ok. i have an 84 250r that i am thinking of putting a newer style silencer on. i do have a silencer from an 02 cr 250 (fmf shorty) i was wondering if this will hurt my trike in any way, perfomance or anything like that.

It wont hurt it at all, just might be a pain to fit on to your trike.

yeah i know that it will be a pain, but i will make some cuts and welds and then walah on it is!!!!.

it will take me a bit, because i am putting on a new head pipe also and redoing the entire engine after a seize (wasn't pretty). but i will take some pics when it is done and hopefully figure out how to do a video with some sound.

you will have to flip the stinger inlet on the silencer to help it fit on the air cooled frame, and a little tweaking here and there and it should work fine, just dont ask questions like will a 99 gsxr 1000 muffler work on my 83 250R...lol!
