Been on the site for a couple months, several times a day learning all I can from the experts on the board. I am just getting started on my 1982 ATC200. My question is does it take the same plastic as a ATC185 or a Big Red?

I would say the plastic on the 185 would not fit. It's smaller. The big red? I would say 50/50 , im pretty sure it'll fit , it's a 200cc motor rite?

If you have a regular ATC200 ( not a 200e, es, m, s, or x model ) then the regular 1980 ATC185 fenders should innerchange.

The 200e, es, m, s, and x fenders are all different and will not work with out modifications.

My first ATC's were '82 and '83 Big Reds that I talked my Dad into getting for the farm. Their plastic will NOT work on a regular 200. I recall the 200 being a one piece rear fender. The Big Red's (200E) had a huge 'trunk' in the middle. The rear fenders were seperate (L and R) and bolted onto the frame and rear rack.

Now I have a 'Bigger' Red to play on... well... I'm makin' it white! Bought over $1000 worth of parts for my 350X in the past couple weeks to make it shine and run like new! (Thanks MR ATC for the vintage OEM Parts I bought)
