Why does my 85 250R foot brake look like it has finger grips on it? Is this a handle for the passenger to hold on, or maybe some free style action? LOL!shens :p

yeah, i always wondered why it needed those
i kinda figured those teeth had to do with chomping dirt/ice that collects there when riding but thats just a guess.
I always thought it looked cool myself

I think its part of the bending process of the flat stock to make it have that sweep shaping up to it. More material would pile up on the bottom side if it were originally a street piece of flat stock.

I presumed there must be more strength in that particular shape, as that piece tends to get stood on a lot...

other pedals are longer and dont have teeth....im sticking to my chomper thery
