View Full Version : Big Red plow resto

The Cycle Country plow that came with my Big Red was a little tired so I decided to freshen it up a bit. I took it all apart, sandblasted it, had all the ovaled out holes welded up and a bushing made up for where it pivots to make it stronger. A fresh coat of paint, new skid shoes and all new stainless hardware finished it up nicely. I was off today so I put it all together and here are the results. Enjoy the pics.

That's the nicest plow I've seen. That could come in mighty handy.

It would be easier to find a Big Red then another plow, snatch it up before it's gone!

how long you own this trike? One was on ebay just like it with same brand of plow. same trike or different one?

Nice stuff Todd!! Came out super nice!!

I was very impressed at how well these plows work. Louis Mielke did an awesome job with (someone's??) plow on Brapps ice track. The thing was DA BOMB!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've had it for 3 or 4 years and it came from the second owner in south Jersey. They do plow good but I have a truck with a 8' plow and a big snow blower and the last thing I want to do after plowing for 7 hours is mess with the plow on the trike.

man if we could figure out how to get it to wisconsin, i would probably have it sold for you. father in law is looking for one to mount onto his 200 big red.

A plow was one of the best things I got for my BR. Worked great this past winter

SO awesome! Now I know what I'll be doing with mine next Spring with a portion of my income tax return.
