I'm trying to put 450R rear wheels on my first 1986 200X. This requires me to use tapered acorn lug nuts much like on a car. When I bought my 400EX it had aftermarket front wheels that did not require the stock acorn nuts the the pervious owner just intalled the nuts backwards. lol. I would just swap the nuts from the front of the 400 to the rear of the 200 but I only have 6 on the 200. lol. So I took one of the acorn nuts from the 400 to a parts store and matched one up. Last time I bought an acorn nut for a car they were 99 cents each. Well they were $5 each! Does anyone have any lower cost alternatives? Or know the thread pitch & size so I can search the net? I guess if I had 2 more lug nuts for the 200 I could just swap too. I'd really like to find the correct nuts and buy more nuts for the 200 depending on pricing. Thanks.

I'm doing a little digging. And Honda wants around $4.30 each, cheaper than an aftermarket auto parts store which is weird but the price is still insane. I found out they are 10mm x 1.25 pitch. Check this out. Here they are in chrome for 50 cents each if you buy 20 of them! I'm not sure on the taper but I'm sure it will be fine. http://www.brandsport.com/grla-40018.html

I got some nice chrome plated acorn lug nuts for the 86 200X I built. I think they cost 22$ for 24 of them.... They are made by ITP, so look into that.

None of the auto ones had the correct pitch and taper......

I found the ITP nuts on Dennis Kirks site and it says 60 degree angle.

The ones DeePa found are also 60 degree and so are the ones I found for 50 cents each. They are all also 10mm and 1.25 pitch. I'll prob just scoop up which ever are the cheapest shipped, gotta wait 2 more days though, payday. Well actually I'll order them with the credit card anyway. So what the hell, I'll just do it now. lol.
