Would like to identify this pipe.
Heres the ebay member I stole it from:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=160303184914&ih=006&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWN%3AIT&viewitem=
My camera has about had it, so the pics kinda suck.
Ill get more detailed ones up tonight hopefully, use my sisters nice camera.
Theres 2 stampings on the system. One one the pipe mount that says "10 85" (build date I assume) and the other is on the silencer, says "ZZ".

The bigbore Z is getting a port job right now, so Im not going to put this pipe on for a bit. Im gonna run the bike with my normal DG so I can feel the port improvement, then after brake-in is acheived at Glamis Im gonna slap this sucker on to see how it performs. Im real excited about it.
Looks beefy! And in good shape - only notice one small dent. Congrats!

That is awesome! What a steal. I kinda wanted it but forgot about it. lol. I need to get my top end done first anyway. I got my piston yesterday and the jug is going to the machine shop tomorrow.
My dad has a stud welder. I plan on using it on dents like that. Just weld a stud in the center of the dent. Maybe heat it up a bit then pop it out with a slide hammer. There is a place in Belleville IL that does cheap chroming too. It's not super nice though. It looks slightly yellow compared to the chrome on my Harley but I think it'd look great on an offroad bike. If I ever get a decent old sectional pipe I'm gonna try popping any dents with my dads puller then have it chromed.

Nope, no stamps except date, and ZZ.
Its really full of crap, been run a LOT I assume. Im probably going to clean it out, strip it, and get it ceramic coated, or just paint it black. Dont know just yet.....

That looks very similar to a CRF brand Tri-Z pipe I had in my hands a few years ago. Possibly a Klemm as well? The CRF and Klemm both had very similar bends.

I spent a few hours when the auction was up trying to I.d. it, and based on pics the crf has "Crf" stamped into it and neither the klemm's nor crf's sections line up to Eric's. Maybe its an "Answer", never seen one for a Z

If the silencer and midpipe are aluminum, it is a coffman. I have one of those coffman silencers kicken around... loud as hell!!! way to small of a silencer for a 250, IMO. Not sure about the pipe.

just looked at the ebay auction link. I am almost POSITIVE that is a coffman silencer.

Yeah, I didn't go big on the bid b/c I already have 2 DG's, 2 stockers, a klemm research, and a another pipe I got off of ebay for a dollar. It looks exactly like the one on zmpolaristech's Z. I only have two Tri-Z's and one is getting the works from Sprock, and that one's probably gonna get a Jemco pipe.
I also have a silencer like that kickin around here somewhere and zmpolaristech is right, way to loud!
