Hey, i was changing the piston in my 200s and also the top end gaskets, but there is no gasket for the valve cover? Do i need anything, like silicon, or will it seal good enough without anything there?

the non-hardening (type 2) permatex is what you should use...
have to keep it away from the cam bearing and journals though. A manual will tell you all of it...go download it

cool, yea i saw in the manual second look around, but all it said was liquid sealer, lol. But ill just use the stuff you mentioned sounds like some good stuff, I have all the sufaces clean of previous gasket material now time to put it back together :).
