will a 250r engine (84) fit in ytm200k with a lil bit of mod.or is it just a waste of time the egines like 75 bucks with no carb or pipe but it runs

The drive sprocket of the ytm-200 is on the wrong side of the bearing carrier. The 250r engine has the drive sprocket on the right side of the engine. You may be able to flip the carrier but then you'll probably loose rear brake. And no suspension with 250R is not a good idea I think.

so you would say its a waste of time cuz im in the middle of a slow (very) rebuild of my 200k and wanna put on better engine in her

well, that 84 R motor will run like a raped ape.
if you could flip the rear axle, you should be golden. just fab up a new caliper mount, or whatever
