has anyone ever put a honda xr250r engine in a 200x??

I tried but the engine was to tall and the engine cradle needed extended a few inches. It can be done but there is alot of fab work for it to fit right.

That would be interesting. But I'm thinking it would be a tight squeeze since the XR250 is basically the same engine as a XR400 so it's about like a 400EX engine too. I've got a pair of 2nd gen 200X's. I think I'm gonna pull the one engine and swap it to the other so I'll have a roller. I'd like to try to fit a 250X engine in it. I think that's be awesome if it worked. An extra 50cc, 2 more valves and reverse.
