20 acres across the street:

And who could let the opportunity go?

First time in 8 years it snowed here and the most ever recorded for this part of Louisiana (8"). Probably nothing to most of you but a big deal down here. :p

That's awesome. For use we love snow, but 8" of fresh pow in Louisiana is cool. Good to see Mother nature is sharing her wealth with you southern guys! Riding in the snow is fun eh?

Is this the first time you have played on a trike in the snow. Pretty cool if I don't say so myself.:w00t:

Yep first time snow riding for me. Had a freakin' hoot. I bet I burned a full tank of gas before noon.

Funny thing is that it's almost 80* outside now.

Oh man, clear that snow of that bug! What is that around a 64 or 65. Nice roof rack. Been awhile since I had a bug. I've had a couple vw's in my day. 60 panel, 65 notch and a 56 Euro bug that was in the movie diner. All gone though. All I have now is a poor Meyers Tow'd that needs alot of love. LOL I hope your cold weather has been alot nicer than the cold weather in upper New York and above. They have sent crews here in MD up north to help those people out. It's pretty ugly up there right now. I hope you are enjoying your snow. It's good snuggling weather if you have someone worth snuggling up with. Take care. Feel free to show a couple more pics of the Bug too. All my vw pics I'd have to scan which would take alot of time, but I have vacation now, so I might scan some later. Have fun.

This one is a 58 Special. They're an addiction for me. And I love the Tow'd. I wish I could find one local.
The snow here stayed on the ground 2 days.

Here's a couple more pics of the Bug. I'll have to load a few of the 64 Ghia, 66 Square, 66 Bug, 67 Bus, and the Baja I built.

wow, and here I was thinking I was the only veedubber and triker here! I used to travel all over the western US running the PRA circuit, and a bunch of vw shows. just ran the sportsman class with the 1776 I built for my show car (170+ hp aspirated) it was fun, one of these days i'll blow the cobwebs off that motor and try it again. ran 13's in an all steel 74 beetle with radials and pump gas. I have a 66, 71, and the 74. used to have a 56 oval, but never finished it. I had 9 beetles at one time, but sold them off over the years... i'll need to dig up some old pics sometime. HH

I wish I still had my oval window. I bought it when I was a senior in high school for $107.00. The hockeystick was broke and it was stuck in third gear. I burned up the clutch getting it home. My brother was working at a VW dealership at the time. They gave him a whole stack of splitcase transaxles. I replaced the hockeystick and put in a new clutch. Then I proceed to whack off the fenders and made it a Baja.
