got me anoher triek to fixer up! a 85 200s.
not in bad shape frame and body wise, but the top end.

Here are some pics.
of where I started and the bad piston.

oh, forgot to add, since i have 2 decent sets, I'm tossing a set of trailpros on there for the backs just to get rid of them faster as i spend 50% on road and 50% on dirt. :P

yea thought about it, but it needed liek nearly everything replaced. it didn't run and the trans was shot, the bearings trasked. it wasn't even a good parts bike, so i was like eh, that's 1 of the few that's a junker so i left it.

but i'll say this, dudes, I'm just getting started. ;)

I'm waiting for tomarrow's (didn't get to do it today) delivery of 2 250s. a 250es and a 250sx. both need plastics, seats and maybe tank work. top ends are bad as they smoke, but trans and drivelien are working so those are to be restored too. the SX is being looked at as doing a 300 swap, and even then, I may look at doing a big bore kit on it for mroe torque. remember, I'm not a racer, so any power upgrades for me are for towning and hill climbing the mountains for next sumnmer. i understand that doing a big bore kit and 300 swap is goign to cost me abotu $800 total, so time to fix up some trikes i have lying around and sell for some $$$$. I have 4 110s. 2 are rollers with motors that need top ends, and 2 are parts only. so i will fix the 2 rollers and sell them. then i haev another 200s that needs some work and 1 200s parts only trike (stole the forks for Justin's 125m) so i'll get a 2nd 200s working soon and then i'll have 2 200s, 2 110s and 1200e and 2 250s. talk about a family! but i'll probelby sell the 110s and at least 2 100s. that doesn't include the wife's 185s frame up restore. ;)

Well here's where it's at.
Installed:
Got new Weisco piston and jug honed to match
Got 2 new valves and had basic valve job done
Complete new top end kit so I installed all new gaskets and seals
Cleaned carb in prep for rebuilt kit install

Ordered:
Front and rear brake lines
Oil seal kit (replaces all seals on the motor to ensure nothing is leaking)
New carb rebuild kit
Thumb throttle and new cable (was missing the on in this trike)
Air filter

Needs:
Complete bottom end needs flushing and cleaning (have the case is off as I’m repairing the generator area and will clean the bottom end completely out)
Outside of bottom end needs cleaning
Frame needs to be washed up and cleaned.
Wiring needs to be put back together
Headlight needs to be reinstalled and gotten working along with tail light area
Ensure brakes are working properly (already checked both axle bearing sets and they are ok)

Pics to come

Here is a pic of the assembled engine. still needs a final cleaning, but you get the point. (putting together a cdi as this did not come with one)

there's a pic of the TraolPros that will go on the rear ;) I knwo you guys just love TPs!!!!

Finally the local auto store knows me pretty well as i am in there at least 2 times a week for stuff doing these trikes. they gave me this organizer free!!!!! yea i have about 80% of my spare parts in it now (small parts there) it holds 3 carbs in a drawer, and tons of stufff. it even is long enough to hold the jub/head studs that hold the top end together and on the trike!
