hey guys, i am really wanting to rebuild the back end of my trike, it is a 1985 200s, my reason for this is the back end has an inch of play and the chain falls off!!, so if i could get bearings how hard is it to take this apart? could i get a step by step on this?

there's a manual on 2 different listed download sites.
it may not be bearings, you sure the back end bolts are tightened correctly? they coudl have come loose.
if it is bearings, you have to remvoe the while back end. it's several hours of work, but no pressess are needed thank god! you can order a bearing/seal kit form ebay pretty cheap. while your in there, may as well replace the rear drum brakes and rear cable if it's worn or sticking.
you'll need retainer clip pliers along withthe normal assortment of tools, as well as get some earing/axel grease as well for assemble. if you got a friend witha sandblaster, have the rear housings for the carrier and brake stuff blasted and repaint them in low-gloss black so they look new again and keep the rust out. make sure you get a new brake housing gasket as they typically are gone or tear up when removal. rubber mallets work well too here on areas.

Just a heads up - if your bearings are as shot as you are describing - get you BIG hammer and some heating torches ready. I fought with a 200s as you described for many hours one cold Saturday morning. You'll need to really beat out the old bearings. That's once you get the axle out - that is no picnic either. Use your head and some patience and you can do it.

do not hit the axle on then end where the nut goes. use a peice of wood betweent he hammer and axle. otherwise plan on replacing the axle.... (bend up and damged thread ends are trashed axles).
