aircooled 250r temp?

hey any of you airfooler guys out there know what the average tempature that the cylinder and head on the 1st and 2nd gen 250r's range? i want to powder coat them and the guy that dose my powdercoating said that he has powder 600, 1000, and 1500 degree ranges but the sellection for those upper temps is limited

Well. I don't think the cylinder would get to 1500 degrees. I don't use any paint on my jugs. Paint holds heat. Not good for perfromance. 600 should work fine.
