How come I have never seen anyone put a Honda front end on a 1986 Tecate?

I think the steering stem bearings are the same size?

Tecate forks, wheel choices, brakes, parts, ect are not as easy to buy. I got lucky with my $85 ready to ride forks.

it might have something to do with differences in head tube steepness.. not sure though... the trailing axle might make a tecate steer too quick..

So the rake on T3 is 24 degrees
Castor on 250R is 20 or 20.3 degrees.

Castor in the 250R manual means the same as rake?
Guess no one wants to put 250R forks leading on a Tecate and do the geometry.

Well I always thought the tecate had the better suspension verse the R LOL. Maybe its cuz I just love the tecate looks.

so much easier and cheaper to get an R front end.

I can pick up triples, forks, and brake caliper for R locally for $53.
