Just wondering if anyone has put the 86' 350X forks on an 86' 200x using the 200X tripple trees. I have an extra set of these forks coming in the mail and would like to improve my front suspension on the 200X. I weigh around 245 and the stock suspension isnt the greatest for me, but I love how light that bike feels and the power the 200 makes. I just want to improve the suspension in front and back. By the way, I also saw the 250R suspension on that 86 200X, that looked great too but since I have these 350X forks coming I thought I'd try them. Thanks.

They don't fit in the 86 tripples, they are 2 or 3MM difference....

The 350X forks are barely if any better than the 86 200X forks.

I plan to upgrade to an 86 250R front end on my 86/87 200X, but then there is another problem as far as the rake is concerned. No use getting better suspension resulting in poor turning. Some have the rake built in the tripples and some do not............

Hopefully someone like Jason Hall can clarify my useless post

I have 350x tripples and 83/84 250r front end on my 86 200x, its defenitly better than the 200x front end. Side effect is that it has less rake and isn't as stable on high speeds, but sure turns alot faster, great for mx atleast.
