Did a search and didn't really find the answer I was looking for so here goes... Does anyone know if a Cr 80 or 125 motor will bolt in to a 1986 Honda 125 frame? This bike has the vertical engine not the horizontal. Thanks for any insight.

it's goignto be a lot fo custom fab work. if you got a welder, chopsaw, and access to the steel, then go for it. if not, then realize it's not going to be a drop and go. your motor was horizontal (unless it was a 86-87 125m then it was vertical) which makes mating things up harder as there is less clearance. If/when you get it set up, your going to also have to look at getting a strutted front fork setup. reason is, it will sit very low and could get snagged on rocks and roots and damaged easly. the front struted forks will lift it up quite a bit and give the clearances you need and a smoother ride too.
why not look at getting something a littl emroe worht while at doing the swap with? liek for instance, get a 185/200s motor and work on bolting that in. i mean if your goign to look at swapping get something with some guts.
