Look like a Bassani for the Z?

I had been watching this on ebay and comparing to every exhaust pic I have and it looks exact to the NOS Bassani I had. Defiantly not dg or a phase. First pic is the auction pic and the second is my old NOS one. Whatcha think :Bounce

Weren't Bassani's all sectional pipes? The silencer is definately a Bassani. Nice price for a aftermarket Tri-z pipe.:w00t:

I have an Answer pipe and silencer on my Tri-z, at least that is what I was told the pipe was, the silencer definately is an Answer. It looks just like my pipe too. Why didn't these stupid pipe companies just stamp there name on these pipes and make it easier on us 20years down the road?:lol: :lol:

Make sure you post up some pics; an answer, confirmed bassani, and cobra I have not seen.


also I know for the air R's bassani made 2 exhausts, one more aggressive than the other obviously. So who knows.

I don't think the silencer is bassani. If i remember right mine only has one spot for a mount bolt. I've only seen one set come across ebay in a while. I snagged my pipe and silencer off of that mint 85 that sold about two years ago. i was thinking about selling it for a jemco for the 310 kit but i'll have to see when i get off of deployment. later

My bassani silencer looks just like that one. Mine still had the bassni lable on it
when I got it.

I recieved the exhaust system last night. So far I sandblasted the silencer and half of the pipe (had some issues with the blast booth).

And i'm positive its a bassani, silencer internals are the same on this, my 350x, and my SX bassani. If I search the site i may be able to find an old pic i took.
