Tanks, I ran into that guy on the street about 4 years ago. He went by me going the other way on Rt.28 in West Bridgewater and I immediately u-turned and followed him. I was on my Ducati. I caught up to him at a red light and talked to him for as long as I could before the light changed. In those 30-60 seconds I offered to trade him my Ducati and sadly he declined. No BS, man. I'm glad you got these pics. I almost forgot about that thing.

To be honest, he had street tires on it when I saw him.
You were at Bettencourt's? Next time you're going up there gimme a holler. I've been looking for an excuse to bring the R up there and drop some jaws.
Roy, just tried to answer your PM but it said you don't accept PM's or something?

Maybe your ducati needs a few suspension adjustments and a 3rd wheel?

looks awesome, but it would be nearly useless off road. ill bet its a tank. and as for fast, it may have an insane top speed, but its acceleration probably isnt all that great.
looks wicked though

I dont think it would be very practical off road....Its probably fast....i dont doubt that...but those headers would ger destroyed....its gotta be a fair amout heavier also....that much weight on 3 wheels and mud = stuck I think....It very cool though

Its not really an offroad machine, at most a drag bike.
Im wondering about the street legal side of it. I suppose because it started life as a CB and was coverted it is legal still?

Not sure what the laws are here in mass, i think most states require a differential rear, which sucks. I have owned several cb750;s and also a cb900 supersport. They do fly, but they dont like bumps. I think the fuel bowls would need re-designing to run it offroad. All the cb's i ever had would end up basically sputtering out and dying with heavy bumps (crappy dirt roads) i think from fuel slosh in the bowls. Atleast thats what i always thought!

it would be good in a drag, but for lugging around and stuff, i think it wouldnt be very quick at all.

I asked the guy how he "Did it" and he said it's registered as a CB 750.

 How could it not have insane acceleration?

cause most rockets top out around 60 in first gear. unless its geared down, it would be useless for tooling around. YES it would haul baloney after you got it past about 15-20 MPH

That's a very nice conversion. Looks like somebody put a lot of time into it. My opinion, it'd haul ass.
