250SX to 200X forks

Hey guys, need some advice on this. Will a set of 200X forks fit a 250SX triple tree? Been trying to up grade my frontend. Have an 85-86 250R frontend on it now but noticed one of my forks is slightly bent. Hope to hear from someone soon.

Are you planning on using the 250sx wide tire setup, or goin with a skinnier sport front end? If you already have an R front end on just get some new forks for that. Sx's handle better with a sport front end. Mine always wanted to push with the stock sx setup.

Yes they fit right in..... You will have to make spacers for the front wheel and ditch the drum brake set up. Better to use the whole 200X front end and just fab up some steering stops.

I would like to keep the skinny tire look, but I'm on a strict budget and don't want to spend over $100 for just the forks. The R frontend works great and is longer giving it a raked look. Is there anyway to straighten the fork tubes out?
