I was wondering what the top speed of my Honda 200m is. It is all stock except that the motor is from a 200e, which is mostly the same, except the 200e has dual range.

I clocked mine via GPS at 40mph topped out. And I have tall tires. Now that it's running better, I'll give it another run and see.

If you listen to some of the clowns in here they've had their 200M's doing 80 and their 250R's doing 150.

I think most do, I know my TomTom One does.

Yeah any GPS made in the last few years should be able to measure speed, it's what it uses to make most of it's calculations.

I wasn't sure :beer
I'll have to borrow a GPS and see how fast my ytm-200e can go. It have the rear end of a 225 with 25'' tires.

The 200S's must be able to get up to about 60mph or so considering there lighter than a 200M, E ,ES, ect but i know my newest big red fly's for what i thought it would do.

I used my Garmin Etrex Legend with a handlebar mount. I had it on my XL500R when I was Dual Sporting.

I just checked mine again. I forgot to clear out the stored information on my GPS the last time. This time I took off down the road with an eye on real time speed display on the GPS. Pretty surprised to see my ATC200 and the 185S both topped out at 40mph. I probably could have gotten more if I didn't have an undersized front sprocket on both. But I choose wheelies over top speed any day.

What a great first post. Don't resurrect a dead thread, please.

Probably the same number of teeth you have douchebag.I was referring to the original post that was implying the 200E was the only model with dual range.

I think you're confused. You see, you're the one from Virginia. I live in Massachusetts. I still have all of my teeth. Not only that, but they're nice and shiny white! :D

I'm not sure they take too kindly to name calling around here my friend.

Maybe you shouldn't act like a smartass the first time I post something.

Well then maybe you should make your first post halfway decent, and NOT revive a three year old thread. You act like a fool, you WILL be treated like one. That's how life goes.

I think most of us can tell you are young... Respect others on the board... ESPECIALLY then you have under 6 posts.. hell, if you have under 500 posts, or even 1000000 posts... just give come common respect. Don't go off shooting your mouth around.. especially when you have no clue on how people react... I think Fabio would have cut you some slack to start, with his smart remark... which is pretty normal... I get it .. most others get it.. your first message board is not a place to start bashing established peeps here.

Start over... introduce yourself. and BROWSE for a few days... then make your intro.... you will not get the "noobboob of the year" award then....

Anyway.. Welcome .. and get your nose clean before coming back..
