can not decide 225dx or 200x

need some input on the cons of them the pro is alway its got 3 wheels...
the dx needs a shaft and tires the 200x need a carb. i have an 81 250r ,84 250r and the old pos ktl250 that only runs when it wants to (never:( )

I cant say much for the dx, but i have a 200x and love it. If it needs a carb thats all the more reason to upgrade to an xr carb (bigger). They make great trail trikes. Also great for wheelies!

Had several 225's and 200X's. I like both for different reasons, but if I had to choose only one of them it would be the 200X.

I'd say 200x also. Clutch drive sportier and alot mor fun. But iff your doing work with it get the 225. just my opinon though

What year 200x is it? Either way it sounds like the 200x needs less work and are easier to find parts for. If that DX needs a shaft, youre gonna have to get that off a parts bike, because I think you cant buy u-joints for them anymore, so its gonna be a chance when you do buy another one.

Depends what kind of riding you would be doing. Personally I would go with the 200X.

if nothing is physically broken or seized you can prolly buy a rebuild kit for that carb for <$30 and have it running fine. Not like its a real complex carb, just a trike.

a 200sx is a quad!!! lol still not a bad price though. if your sure it is a trike, then maybe it is a 250 sx ????? either way is a good deal.
