85 250r air box removal

I have an 85 250r and i want to do away with the air box. I hate dealing with the tube from the carb to air box. Is their an air box eliminator kit or do any of you know a way to do it. The carb is pretty close to the shock so its hard to get a clamp on filter. Please post pics also.

ESR makes a nice aribox eliminator. ESR250.com They are now located at pismo so if you make your way over there you could just pick it up.
