I just got an idea on saturday night. My 200es axel was rusted so i took off both wheels and chocked up the back end. I got out some sandpaper, wet and dry and some polish (mothers is best).
I started it up and got the rust off (running thern engine and putting the sandpaper on the spinning axel) i then finished it off with wet and dry.
i got some polish and polished it up....................it looks great!!!!!!!!!!!

so if ya got a bit of spare time and a rusty axel i recomend this HIGHLY

unfortuantly when ever it gets damp or spots of water on it it will start to rust again, give it a coat of clear laquer paint, that should stop it from rusting again, or just put on loads of WD40, that'll stop the rust for a while.

just spray some krylong clear coat, and put it thick. It's cheap and believe it or not it'll hold up and look good for at least a season.

Ive been using that spinning axle trick for years. I usually end up painting the axle though, then clear-coat the crap out of it.
