Just got 1/2 a 350X....... kinda

Found this little beauty, well it showed up here. The guy stopped in a friends automotive garage since his quad was sitting outside and asked about parts that he needed and he had some honda parts he wanted to get rid off. Seems the 350x had a bad topend (lack of oil or oil filter in backwards) and he pulled it and put in a 86 XL250R RFVC engine, but messed with the timing and bent all 4 valves. So he then took the rear off the 350x and put it on a streetbike and the front of the Xl on it as well. So I picked up all this for 150.00 delivered to my door. has a Supertrap 4 " the bottom end looks like it can be saved. Front brakes are there and and the air box, wiring harness, tank and others. Going to sell off the XL tank seat and stuff.

bruce thats not a bad deal for that stuff. sell the xl250 stuff on ebay and get most of the money back.

good lord how did he eat them cam journals up like that...seems like the noise would have been horrible enough for him to shut it down before it got that bad yikes lol
