The first gens (83-85) like to break at the down tube near the front motor mounts if raced hard or jumped alot. The second gens are alot better frame but I've had the subframe crack near the mount for the muffler.

Well according to my frame, right under the gas tank, right below the right foot peg, and the right subframe rail. My frame was rusted out but it cracked a ton.
