Why do they all set so far back??? I would be right over the bars to keep that front end down.

if you climb over the bars you spin if you stay neutral you can shift acordingly.

I was thinking the same thing to myself...
though Brapp has a good point too....guess its all about when you shift your weight
Pretty gnarly stuff there...

the good 'ol days

Brapp is right. That hill looked pretty slick. I bet that traction is a tough to get. You would have to be back on the bike to get it to grip. Funny stuff though. The crowd is nuts.

Brapp is right the hill (Route 93 Crossing) has a lip at the top and if you don't get the front over you don't get over. The Mud Fleas have to drag you over. I ran that race 5 times on Quads. Plus you need to keep the front up through the water and it is slick! In this video #215 is Jerry Hougentogler from PA and a fellow team mate back then. Racer Productions actually made a X Mas card out of that flip, I have been looking for that clip for a while. Thanks for posting

I would like to see someone try it on a Big Red, with large knobby tires. It wouldn't be as fast as everyone else, but would get better traction.

That is the kind of race I would like to attend. Or even better might try to get something like that going.
