Need a little experienced expertise. I have an 83 250r. I would like to change the front end out to the beefier 85-86 front end. If i get an 85 set of forks and triples, what else would i have to have? i'm sure the 11" wheel is the same pattern, what about the rotor, hub, and brake caliper?
the wheel isnt the same pattern its smaller.. If you need a newer style hub I got a sweet chrome powdercoated one and a wheel for it as well (silver) the tripples will have to be changed out as well, the fork tubes are larger on the liquids then the air R's I have the tripples as well Pm me if you need something.

Not meantioned is the rake in the 85/86 250r tripples, it will rake out the front end, making it kinda like a chopper. 83/84 250r and 85/86 350x don't have any rake built-into the tripples. I think 83-87 200x might have rake in the tripples, when I put a 83/84 250r front end on 350x tripples it tighten up the rake(more straight up-down), decreased hi-speed stability and faster turning. It more suited the mx riding that I do.
