who has them? Im actually kinda curious about a 200x conversion kit... now before You burn me at the stake... remember IM BIGGER AND I WILL CRUSH YOU!

ok now... reason being a 200x astro kit would be the cats ass for my duaghter to upgrade into I think the 83-85 200x would have the most usable power for her, BUT as she says " dad... im crazy... but im not that crazy!" (dosnt want a trike) lol!

or just show what you got.... Ive seen a few Z astros and 350X astros, but not a 200x astro.

why not just get a honda 200 quad? seems much easier and cheaper to me

even the suspension on a astro 200x would be lightyears ahead of any honda 200 quad....200sx 200 type 2 etc etc...

suzukis are a rare breed here hey swinging while your veiwing.. would a 200 motor work well in say... a 250ex/300ex chassis?

i think so

my bro had a 200x in a trx 250r but it was a TC dual plug motor

honda almost made a trx 200x and it looked almost 250x/300ex size.

thanx I can snap up a complete roller 250ex/300ex for 100 then I guess I could toss in a lifan motor... I just wanted to see if a astro was available any where... not only I think they are a part of trike history but I think it would really suit her.

IMHO it'll be far easier and a nicer bike to build a 200x 250x/300ex hybrid

just dont get a 250ex like you typed, they are shaft drive

Honda did make a 200x quad, there was one in Oregon for sale a few weeks back.

yea I dont really care for the new sportrax 250EX its so lame.... it scarcely compares to the old 250X

I just went shopping online and totaling a list up... looks like a 200X quad may be in the works!

I find it odd how many things werent sold in the US, like in Australia a 88 Big Red was for sale for almost the whole year, many can be seen in the vineyards. I have also seen a few 87 250sx's there too. Friends in mexico have seen a 87 200r, my GF even had someone that came into work talk to her about his for a good hour or so as she asked every detail.

I know that the 2 offroad race cars im looking for are in Mexico and theres more than 30... yet here in the US, theres 6 i know of.

If you look closely at this pic you can see it's more 200X than 300EX. Definately 200X rear fenders, seat and tank with some kind of fabbed up front fender. http://www.files.3wheelerworld.com/images3/4trax200x.jpg

IMO putting a 200 in a 250x/300ex would be much easier and look a million times better than any astro conversion kit ever could... For a $100 its sounds like the way to go.. Thats definately what I would if I had a daughter..

Why not just buy a stock 250X or 300EX and put her on that with no mods to the bike at all? In stock form it should be about exactly what you are looking for, isn't it?

SYKO

no that will be to much.. a new stock 250ex sportrax would be less high strung then the old 250x or 300ex

How about a Mojave?

EDIT.

How about a 250X and make a major restrictor plate for the air intake tube and jet it down?

I have put a 200x in a 250X frame, it fits just need to make up some different mounts and trim a 200x header. Use a 200 Big Red intake manifoild to straighten out the carb (200X goes to the side more). If I remeber right you will need to bend the foot peg around the kicker, nothing you cannot handle Syko!!!!

I don't mean to derail the thread and but don't need to start a new thread for this but anyone know if a 250X motor can be fit into an 86/87 200X without too many mods? I think that would be pretty damn cool.
