View Full Version : anyone have pics of a plastic tank on their Big Red?

finally gave up today and ordered a Clarke tank for my 84 BR. The stock tank was a wreck, ordered another steel tank off ebay that was "rust-free"....ended up almost as bad as the original. Figured this was the way to go as my Big Red is far from a show bike........ its used daily around our farm here. so how are the Clarke tanks as far as fit, etc? :pics:

my father in law has one on his big red, i think it looks fine and fits fine. i will see if i can get a pic of it next time i am out by him.

Check out atcTim's website, www.tionestatrikes.com, I think it is, he's got a BR w/ a 200X front end & a Clarke(?) tank, it's the cooles BR you'll ever see.
