hey guys i got a yt125 good trike but i got a weard problem . i can run real good if my airbox top and filter are off as soon as i put anything on the box it boggs and runs like crap . will take any advice to fix the problem

take what off the top ? well what do yall thing i can use to keep trash from getting in

Take it off...or try adjusting the carb..take time and go throygh the sticky about carb adjustment. Just work at it.

Have you put a new air filter on?

yes and still the same thing happens / its crazy i mean if there is anything blocking the carb it shuts off i went out there today and put a paper towl over the hole in the box to the carb and even that bogged the trike down ????

What does your spark plug look like is it black like your running way to rich? What notch is your throttle needle at?

mine did the same thing and i ended up finding out that it had low compression you need at least 100 psi but that just my two cents
