Has anyone found another front caliper from a dirt bike or quad that fits the 350X? I have a NOS rear one, but I guess if anyone knows of a rear caliper interchange that works that would be good to post too. Anyone?

i think most any similar looking front master will work, like the CR, XR, TRX,.... As for the rear caliper i think the CR80 front works on the rear of the X

I have 3 front brake caliper for my 350X...they all are pretty worn out as you can imagine after 20+ years of use. Are any of the rebuilt parts discontinued? Like the rubber boots, the cylinders, or the cylinder seals?

Also, does anyone know of a direct bolt on caliper from a newer dirtbike??? I'd like to update my brakes if I can.

Thanks,
Kris

Eric -- did you put new pistons in, or just replace the seals?

i have used the 450r master cylinder for the back but i had to make a plate to use it since the bolt holes are diffrent.

i just cleaned everything real good and replced the seals. Are you sure its not the master cylinder?

Yeah...I'm rebuilding this bike from the ground up. If I stay with the 350X caliper, I will have it powder-coated and I will completely rebuild it. I'll probably use a master cylinder from a 300EX or equivalent. I want to use one that still has the master cylinder boot available.
