A little story for everyone to enjoy . . .

About a week ago i found a 200m on a local site for $300. It ran amazing and the guy offered to bring it to me, so i got it :D

Saturday, i went riding with 2 friends (Jake and Justin [brothers]). Justin was on my 250 fourtrax in front of me, i was on the 200m, and Jake was on my soldier 110 behind us.

I went to pass Justin so i could how him where the trail was (we were on a gravel road) and right as i got beside him, he ran into me.

Our back tires touched and that was the end of the story. I got pushed off into the ditch, where i smashed the brake lever down, which imidiatly dug into the ground and threw the trike over to the right . . . on top of me.

I was told i slid about 30 feet on my heltmet before the trike rolled on over and left me on the ground.

wow that sucks! Almost the same thing happened to me, except I bit a nice big hole completely through my tongue, broke a tooth, hole through lip, gash on chin, I think you faired pretty well :lol:

Good lord how did you do that? makes me wanna wear a mouth piece when i ride,did your chin get familure with the handle bars or something?

Yep, handlebars met chin and 200 some lbs of trike! Oh and that was after it got stiched up, before it was stiched when I moved my tongue it literally folded in half!

Oh yes, this is not my first wipe out . . . however it is my first wreck on a trike (bad wreck with any injuriies).

Turns out i also broke a rib.

The 200M is ok . . . for the most part. She will very easily ride another day, soon. I just bought another one out of the junk yard for parts so i can fix it. I might actually have a "complete" set of rear plastics. . . between the 2 and a lot of zip ties.

All in all, i feel i faired well. I was wearing a full face MX helmet (which is what blacked my eye). And i slid 30 or so feet on my face, which manage the road rash.
