I'm curious...what's stopping that frame from snapping in half?

Yes, it is, just with a 250r front end.

The engine holds the frame together....

could always build a custom frame and make it a suspension rear. i am debating on doing that to my big red atg a later date.

I built one 5-6 years back out of a CB360 with a 2 into 1 gutted hooker header sounded mean.. It was a fun build, but man it rode like crap. Very heavy and handled very poor. It was one of those bikes that you just went with it for a ride it went where it wanted. Ended up trading it for an aircooled r to some goofball out of the city..
