So sorry for posting twice, I thought one of my kids erased it during a keyboard drive by. I have twins so at times their little hands come out of nowhere.

a keyboard drive by. lol that's funny. http://partsfinder.onlinemicrofiche.com/Alba/Honda_OEM/HondaATV.asp?Type=12&A=12
If you need OEM parts buy from these guy's, they are cheaper than bikebandit and fast with service.

you will find out that they are disscontinued but a 300ex pump will work if you use the 350x oil pump drive gear or machine the case for the 300ex gear to work.

Are the oil pumps in these things know weak points? Seems like I see a lot of talk about them. My 350x came with a spare motor that the cam was locked up in the head, could have been oil pump failure? Just wondering if I should change the one out in my nice 350X just for preventive maintenance.

open it up and see how it looks.
a while back me and 2 buddys took all our 350x oil pumps....like 8-10 of them and opened them up.
most came from known running motors but 2 or 3 were unknown....they were all tore up inside to the point they couldnt be working 100%.
now if im rebuilding a motor why not at least open up the old pump and see whats going on in it?
no they arnt a weak point....not any more then any other pump but they are all 20 plus years old, emagine all the old/low oil that thing pushed.
back in the 80s i had a 85 200x that seized up, keep in mind it was only a few years old.
after a rebuild it ran 10 min tops.........bad oil pump. now i was young working at burger king at the time so it took a pile of part time pay checks to refix it a second time. its not worth it not to look or replace.
would you run a high mile 20 plus year oil pump on your 460 or 331?

Swigin how can you tell if they are bad once you open it up? I'm rebuilding a 200x right now. I already have $150 into a new Wiseco and a bore/hone. I only want to do it once but a new pump is another $90+.
