Thanks to Atctim, I got the rest of the parts to start my 110 project. I put about 16 solid hours on it between Saturday and today. I repainted the frame and all the black pieces. Cleaned up the axle and chrome pieces. CLeaned the plactic and buffed the tank. I'm not putting a whole lot of money into this project. It's gonna be a trail beater and "shower power".
Here is how she looks as of 7:30 p.m. Sunday. Yea, I know I still need to get some tires and clean up the rims. So far we've got about $20.00 in paint and $125 for the new top end (which will be worked off in trade).
Dawn acquired the bike from a customer of hers for a few quarts of paint.

Looking good there Rick .. Now your gonna have to hunt up a rack for the machine.Look's like the little trike's are gonna be well represented at TF this coming up year. Are you just gonna keep it a nice clean trike or do any heavy mod's too it?

You get it over here. I'm sure I'll have time late winter/early spring.

Thanks Roger. I think I'll just keep it stock. Just a little beater.

Here's some updated pics. Got it all together today. Kind of a rattle can special. Looks good though. Still gotta fix the rear fender too. Anyone got a trunk they want to get rid of? Can't seem to get it to start. Any ideas? I have fuel and spark. Could the timing being off cause this. I even tried starting fluid and nothing. Help.

I wouldn't be ashamed to ride it.

To make it an edog signature series You'll need to give it a liberal application of armorall. If it has spark and fuel I would also be inclined to think it's a timing issue. Looking good though. That is what I'm looking for, a decent 110.

It was anything but decent when I got it. Just had to put a litltle elbow grease into it. I'll get some armor all tomorrow and get it set up for the good pics.

Still working on trying to get it running. I believe the timing is set right. Correct me if I'm wrong. Magneto shows T for TDC in the inspection hole, piston is at tdc, cam sprocket mark (O) is lined up at mark on head, cam is set to lobes down (valves closed). Anything I'm missing? Tried starter fluid to see if I can get it to pop and still nothing. It has good spark. Need advice.

Adjusted valves tonite. Still not running. Any 110 guru's out there?

check your CDI pulser.. that thing that spins on the top end, at the end of the camshaft.. it got some sort of magnet or something that tells the plug when to spark. ive heard tell of people having that out 180 degrees. it wouldnt hurt to try switchin that around.. then again im not sure but i think there was only one way to put that on the cam.... in any case have a tinker at it! at "T" on the flywheel and "O" on the sprocket that pulser should be pointing up "at the same mark as the O".. so it makes the spark.. have a look!

are your getting fuel to the cyclinder? have you tried soaking the carb in chem dip (after every jet is removed) and then reassembly cleanly and use carb cleaner to spray off the parts before assembly? could be plugged carb jets.

The pulser will only go on one way. It's all lined up like it should be.

All the jets are clear and it is getting fuel. I'm still gonna try a rebuild kit.
pull the intake and roll the motor over to TDC.
Shoot some carb cleaner in the intake and see if it stays there. If it leaks down, then the intake valve aint closing.
EDIT...............Also check and make sure the flywheel key aint sheered...

flywheel key is ok. I'll check the valve tomorrow. Thanks buddy. I am pretty sure it is closing though. Adjusted the valves last night.
Goat, I tried that a few days ago. I'm gonna try to pull start it tomorrow. See if I can get anything.

man thats a weird one! i kinda thought the pulser would only go one way, its strange though, it got to be the carb if its nothing in the motor..

Just a quick update and BIG thanks to Louis. We tore the top end down last Saturday and found a bent vlave. I just replaced them both tonite and put her back together. A little shot of starting fluid, and a few quick pulls on the rope and vroom. She's a runner. Took it out for a quick spin. Still has a few issues to be worked out. The carb. is pissin' fuel like crazy and it won't stay engaged in high gear. Minor probs. I think. It'll be coming with me to Tim and Shelly's.

Congrats, It is always the best when a project fires up. The rest is just fighting little fires, but the major stuff is out of the way.
