Hi....
What is the best way to remove the bottom race on a 350X? I was able to remove the top race with no problem, using a race remover I bought from Motosports Outlet. The only problem is it doesn't work on the bottom race due to the opening being to large.....
Anybody have any luck or a good method in removing the bottom race? I am replacing the existing OEM components with an ALLBALLS kit. Any help is greatly appreciated....

as long as you can get a punch or long screwdriver on the race, you can just pound it out the bottom of the tube.

I had a problem keeping the screw driver on the race, there didn't seem to be enough for the screwdriver to grab. Maybe I need some new screwdrivers and punches. Thanks... Josh
Have you found any good spots to ride in this state????

oh *Edited**Edited**Edited**Edited* i didnt even realize youre from RI...
ive done steering stem bearings on my old 350x before, and didnt have a problem getting them out. On my tri-z though, dirtcrasher had to grind some of the frame above the race away to get a punch on it.
I dont remember if there is a lip to get on but I dont remember having to grind anything on the 350x.
As far as riding in RI, its possible, there are some local spots that i hit in E.P...
NH is where its at, check out the NH ride threads in the local riding forum.
Where are you from?

Im from Johnston, there is really no where to ride here. My last ride was to Maine for the weekend. I registered my bike there, I will have to check NH out
Thanks for the tip.... Josh
