ok heres my situation. my 250R was from alot differant elevation then mine. I can't seem to get it to idle after its warmed up. will sit an idle after first start but once you go for a ride you have to keep you thumb on the gas just a slight bit when you pull in clutch and stop. I've messed with the jet and air screw and finally got it to idle but the idle screw is all the way in and the air screw is 2 1/2 turns out. I want to change my jets and have a #60 pilot and a #132 main. I'm thinking this trike was set up for sea level as thats most likly where it used to run in the sand. My elevation is 3500 ft and I ride sometimes at about 5000 ft.
If I got down a size from a 60 to 58 is that going to be enough with such a drastic change in elevation? Or should i go to a #55?
Just want to see if somone can help me get a bit closer without buying a bunch of jets at 10 bucks each. thanks
