View Full Version : 125 front chain drive sproket

i dunno if i should post this post here or in the quad section because it's kind of a mixed, mixed sitatution.
i have a 85 trx 125 and the drive sproket is missing a few teeth. and just woundering what other gears would fit. i don't care if the number of teeth is different. I think a 125m would fit, but dunno about others, i have heard a 200e may fit as well. any ideas?
if the mod's, think this post belongs in the quad section, please feel free to move it.

Looks like it has the front sprocket that is considered part of the tranny. I ended up having to buy an oem one for my'84 125m, and it was expensive, around $40. Hopefully you can find a nice used one for cheaper than that. I believe this front sprocket is unique to Hondas that have the subtranny, but I am not positive.

hyperparts has them cheap ($25). Although the rear listed is for the later model.
