200m Charging Problem

I have a 200m with a 200e motor in it. When I was running it without a battery I notice a problem with the charging system. When the motor idled the headlight lit up fine, but when I reved the motor, the light dimed down a lot. What could be the problem? Is it the coil taking the power?

no battery, thats the problem. my 2ooes is the same. take the battery out lights brightens as the revs lowers, and higher rives brighter the headlight. find a small 12 volt battery and stap it on *Edited**Edited* chassy somewhere or your glove box.

I had a battery for, but I had not bothered to put it in yet. I put it in and now the charging seems fine
