250R Axle

hey guys does anyone know if the rear axles interchange between 81 to 84 ?? Or are they year specific ??? I know that on the water cooled 85 and up they are flipped and the chain is on the left not on the right side.

I was going to say like if they are diffrent between the years if i like change the bearing carrier to the right year to use a diffrent axle would that work ??

every 2 years there was a major update on the 250r's so i would say no to interchangeability (wow ) 81 to 82 maybe yes 83 to 84 yes 85 to 86 no ,,,, thats it,,,,,,,,,,
