Other than the biased opions on the ATC 70,
What do you think the best rigid trike is?
I think the 87 125m is the best of mine.
Light, electric start, has reverse.(However hard to find parts for.)
The 200m is my second choice.
Powerfull, electric start, easy to find parts.(But no reverse)

The 185/200 series trikes are nice. The klt110 is a nice trike, but weak in the shifter. The yt125/175 trikes are nice even though some people don't like how they look with the lowslung back-set engine. The yts' are quite the wheelie machines if that is what your looking for and the 2 stroke engines are nice if you like 2 strokes. I don't really like the stamped steel framed hondas even though I have several trikes of that make and displacement, just in aftermarket frames. Each trike really has their good points and bad points, but I like the tube framed models the best. Also, several of the trikes had aftermarket suspension set ups they could utilize. Some were weld on and some were bolt on. But those suspension set ups are getting harder and harder to find. I have suspension set ups for the yt125/175 yamaha trikes and suspension set ups for the 185s frames and all the engines that will fit in that frame. A major difference in riding even though they don't compare to a 200x or a ytm200, but fun just the same and really rare I might add.

Not rigid.
But how about a 200ES? 200cc, electric, reverse, shaft, high and low range.

probably the best rigid is the atc us 90, my 1971 weighs just under 200lb, goes through mud probably the best out of the honda rigids, very easy to manuver through woods, great at climbing, and great in sand. the 200m is technically not a rigid becuase it has front suspension. the 125m is a good bike, but was never a fan of the power to weight ratio, a stock 125m weighs 280+ pounds, thats as much as a 185s/200s and a 185s rigid will tear up a 125m, i've had both.
but as far as 125's go the 86/87 are best becuase they have reverse.

My YTM-200 has taken more than a beating, it is one though machine. Best part of it it's simple it goes forward, pull start and no battery to get wet an worry about. It WILL got through water up to the handle bars.

I don't have one, but I think I'd generally agree on the 200ES. I wish my 200E were actually an ES. The combination of reverse and Hi/Lo would be great.

I like the Honda 200's. I have a 200E (actualy an 200M with a 200E motor) and I'm tired of pushing it backwards. So my next one will be a 200es, or a 250 with reverse.

Well this could go on forever. In my opinion its the 1983 ATC200. Big tires, bigger frame than a 200S. Small trunk. Easy to throw around. Wheelies for miles. Much lighter front end than a 200E. Engine can be swapped with a bunch of other trikes. Front axle is in front of the lower leg which makes the bike quite a bit longer than the ATC200 without front suspension and also longer than the S models. The M is close to this bike but is heavier because of the battery/starter etc.

And you're crazy as hell, too. I remember watching that thing go bouncing down the track at TF. It was like mechanical bull riding and drag racing all mixed together.
Looked cool, though.
