That looks like a total sleeper, very nice machine .One thing I envy on that machine is the eletric start.I'd like to have that machine in my collection .

WOW! Could you post some details on the modifications that you had to perform for this biuld? I too like the idea of the electric start, very nice trike!

Very nice indeed. If I'm thinking right it's basically the same engine as 79-82 XR and XL 500? I have 4 of those bikes. Isn't the engine a bit tall for a 350X chassis? Frame mods? I was working on turning one of my spare frames into a trike but never got very far with that. Still waiting to get an ATC250R swing arm from a friend.

Thanks to all!
I built it last winter,I bought the 350x with only the frame, rear shock, rear fender and seat, tank and complete front,no rear end and no engine.I sandblast all parts and rebuilt. The frame is a 86 350x,I have cut the section under engine to be able to insert the engine in the frame. This section is removable,It's very very tight I have 1/8 between valve cover and frame, just enought to remove cover to adjust valves.Engine is from a 82 Ascot ft500,It's the same engine in the first generation xl/xr500,except for the electric start, side cover,crankshaft....FT500 engine have only electric start but I install the kick start on it,with the shaft from an old xl250....just a good backup.I shim the front fender to clear the front pipe.Exhaust is from a suzuki 1200 if I'm correct, shortened 6 inch, very quiet and no restriction don't be worry :)Battery holder is from a 250es,Ignition switch and the pad from a 250sx
Need more details??

Yeah by all mean's ,put up some more detail's and some more pic's if that ain't a problem.

That does look like a sweet build, and like I said before, a sleeper.Did you have any issue's with the rake ,and what frt suspension set-up did you use? How is the torque and what are you geared at??

The frame and front end are 350X so there shouldn't be any issues there.
