This year, I finally got off my butt and got my Westcoast swinger blasted and powdercoated. I changed out the aluminum TRX for a -1 Westcoast to make the bike more correct for its time....also because the adjustible strut does not adjust enough. I want to lower the bike more. I am running the strut and adjustible swinger at the same time. I should be able to adjust it any way I want now. Here are some pics.......the nice plastics came off today.

I have to admit that I am not as good a picture taker as edog. My lighting is off, but whatever.....you get the point.

Don't beat yourself up Chris, nobody can take pics like edog.

That R looks great regardless! I've never heard of a -1 Westcoast, pretty cool! A rare item I bet.

You guys got me hooked last winter. I'm really looking forwrd to it this year. If only I can get used to the sound of the ice popping under my feet lol

Hope it gets cold enough early. I'd like to get out more than once.

Greenwood lake this year I'm guessing? Still gotta pick up a set of those cheng shens too. not sure on the size tho?

Hi Chris

We will see how the winter goes. I am open for traveling too. GWL is easy because there is always a race and there are lots of people. I have a house there with a heated garage and pool table. The bar is down the hill on the lake and stumbling distance from home. If people aren't too picky, I can fit a few people no problem. JohnR lives 3 miles away too.

I am open to wherever we need to go. I have been dying to get up to PA to ride, but have been working like a dog lately. I was lucky to get my crap together this weekend. Are there any lakes or ponds near you? I hope to make the winter "Pennsyltucky ride" this year.

Very nice pics!!!! I almost love your R more than mine!!!:D

What is the hp that 330 puts out?

I dont what to whore up your thred too much Mr. D. but to be honest I really never checked into whats avalible here in Pa for Ice racing. Most of the bigger lakes are like state parks and gamelands. so I'm not sure how that works with registrations or whatnot. There's lots of private ponds and lakes. even loads of water filled strippin holes. but I wouldn't feel to safe on any of those.

Maybe I'll join up over on PAatving and ask those guys. but I'll be gme for just bout anything.

OH.. I dont think Josh's ponds are quite big enough to have any kind of competive racing. not like our little ole tree fiddies can hang with you and john anyways. LOL. Its all about hangin out and talkin trikes anyways.

Just teasing. I'm more a fan of video...hopefully I will get better at that too.

Edog, you had a post about rare parts, can you pick them out? We will see who knows their trivia.....

250Rfan can not participate....just kidding... :beer

I don't know what the ESR puts out though. It is pretty fast, but never dynoed it.

I don't know what else to do to it at this point. It seems good. I finally got the jetting OK last winter at Raffa's. It took forever to get rid of the mid range fat. I think a little tinkering this winter should get it all set. Maybe I will dyno it this spring.

Chris,You only ride that on ice?

Yeah Mosh....it's my garage queen and ice racer. It has not been in dirt since I redid the bike a second time. I have another R for the woods.

The only way I could justify to myself spending all of that money building it and keeping it nice was to race it somehow. The ice seemed like the ticket.

250Rfan....I told you you could not post....just kidding, you have the sickest bikes on this board and need I say most likely in the world..... odd, but probably true. Maybe someday we will meet up and we can get a beer. I get to Europe every so often. I was there last year, but was way far away from you. I was in Austria visiting family.

Thanks for the props guys. I'm psyched to get out on it again. I was doing powerslides in the back yard, but the wife and neighbors don't really appreciate it that much.

I hope to see all of the guys from last year for some racing, grillin' & chillin'. Just remember, if you go fast enough, you don't have to worry about all of those noises you hear from the ice cracking and popping.
